Class Descriptions

Below is a partial list of my classes.  I'm creating new ones all the time and the latest may not be listed here.  If you want to see me present on something, just ask.

Bondage Classes

Ritual and Rope

Much of what we do with rope is precise.  Precise placement, precise movement, precise storage of rope.  This mindful action lends itself perfectly to ritual.  Ritual spans the entire process of rope from rope maintenance and care to playing with rope.  This class explores that span and brings the elements of ritual so cherished in the leather community into the rope domain.

Escape Bondage

Riggers like to tell ourselves that our rope is inescapable.  We shall proclaim loudly that some specific cinch or another will prevent our bottom from escaping.  Of course, when we put ourselves on the line, the bottom escapes in 15 seconds.  This class will separate the class into riggers and bottoms and each will be taught the tricks of their chosen role and we'll come back together for a challenge to see who learned theirs better.

Living With Rope

After every event, I leave with a renewed sense of purpose.  "This time, I'm going to do what I love all the time."  Life would invariably get in the way and the normal routine of doing some kind of rope play at best once or twice a week reasserts itself.  This class will explore things that can be done as you go about your daily life and other techniques of maintaining that rope connection no matter how busy you are.

Sexy Bondage: Getting Off With Rope

Bondage is about restraint.  It can also be about sensuality, connection, orgasms and sex.  Rope can tie your partner into that position for fucking and it can drop them straight into an orgasmic space.  This class is all about using rope for pleasure.

Rope Moods

Rope can be cruel, it can be kind, it can be torment and it can be bliss.  It can be any and all of these things in a single scene. Learn to use rope to help establish the mood and energy you want out of a scene.

Fast Rope

The most often refrain I hear from people who are not into rope is that it takes too long.  Bring your rope (or borrow mine) and learn to do a few things that will let you tie an arm in five seconds and otherwise really speed up your rope work.

Quick and Dirty 101

Rope bondage is easy. Really, really easy. That is, it is easy if you have someone to come and show you how to do it. Otherwise, it can be quite frustratingly difficult.  Often what looks impressive when you see other people do it is just a simple matter of confidence, muscle memory and adaptability to fix what did not go the way it was intended.  This class focuses on the basic single column, double column and multi-column ties that form the basis of many types of bondage.  With an emphasis on developing muscle memory skills to allow you to focus more on enjoying the hotness with your play partner than trying to remember basic knots and ties.

Bondage 201

Rope bondage is perceived complexity made up of simple concepts. By now, you know the basic knots and can tie simple bondage with little difficulty. This class expands on that basic knowledge and uses those basics to build the beautiful ropework you’ve always admired and wished you could do. Bring rope, this will be an interactive class. A limited amount of rope will be available for those who have none.

Bondage Mechanics

Why? That's the question I always ask when people tell me things like hemp is better, use 6mm rope, don't put a tightening not around your subject's neck. The reasoning is often not obvious and, sometimes, downright counter-intuitive. Understanding these reasons will allow the rigger to better remember these items deemed "common knowledge" and make well reasoned choices. This class will: - Clarify some of the basic things you've been taught to do and not do. - Cover strengths of common materials and safety factor guidelines - Cover the role of friction and tension in bondage - Cover a small selection of bondage techniques that demonstrate why we do some things the way we do

Suspension without a TK

It's easy to forget that there are other ways to suspend someone than a Takate Kote and futomomo given the ubiquity of these ties in today's imagery and play.  Let's explore some of the other ways to suspend your partner along with the advantages and drawbacks.  This is an interactive class so bring your rope and your partner to expand your toolkit.

Thinking on your feet

How to make that tie work when you are halfway through and forgot the instructions. Basically, this is a blending of various elements from Lochai’s artistic aspects class to Graydancer’s improv classes. It is a hands on class to help people get a feel for improvising and make things work as they get into the dungeon to try to make that chest harness/suspension/whatever work when you get there and realize that you forgot half of it.

Rope for Photography

Rope for the dungeon and rope for photographs share the common intent to restrain. However, bondage for photography has a special set of aesthetic requirements to make it look good on film. This class will not need or use cameras as it is about the. Various Bondage modular classes I’ve taught so many different bondage classes that I can do a class on almost any subset. Chest harnesses, arm binders, hog-ties, furniture ties, extreme bondage, etc.

Throwing away the Book: techniques to take your bondage to the next level

The first steps of bondage can be intimidating. The desire to “follow the book” so that you get it right is always there. Perhaps you even take your bondage book out to the play party so that you can get it just right. This class will teach you the techniques that can free you from the book and allow you to use it as a reference instead of a bible.

Passionate Rope

Rope Bondage is passion.  It is connection, it is pleasure and pain, joy and suffering, gentle and brutal all combined into one.  The technical side is important and is the basis of good rope bondage.  We will cover the technical and you will be able to continue your new found love affair with rope after leaving the class.  You will also learn to use rope to manipulate the emotion of the scene to produce the effect you desire in your partner.

Cruel Rope

As riggers, we do a lot to make rope bearable and, often, comfortable.  This class is designed around using rope itself to promote suffering.  This is different from a predicament bondage class because it really focuses on the suffering as the purpose of the rope as opposed to the choice of two bad options.

Rope Breathplay

Breathplay is hot and sexy.  Rope is hot and sexy and, as much as we advise the newbies “no rope around the neck”, we still do it because it is amazingly hot.  This will be an intermediate hands-on class that will teach safe rope breathplay techniques

Armbinders

The holy grail of bondage is often the elbows touching behind the back in an arm-binder of some sort. Images depicting this position are some of the most prevalent in BDSM media. Not everyone is quite that flexible. This class will teach several armbinder techniques suitable for people of any flexibility.

General Modular Classes

I can teach on a wide variety of topics.  If you don't see the bondage topic you need, contact me and we will discuss how I can make it happen for you.

General BDSM Classes

Fetish

The BDSM world is filled with fetishes. Stockings, High-Heels, Fishnets, Corsets, Latex...Need we go on? There is a fine art to fetish. An art that involves everything from fit to finish. In an era where we live with mass produced items bought over the internet with no ability to test before we get our items, it is a hit and miss (mostly miss) proposition to truly fulfill your fetishes. This class will cover what makes a fetish, how to feed your fetish, and some of the finer points of the above mentioned fetishes which Leon holds quite dear to his heart.

Rough Body Play

Kicking, punching, slapping and tossing your partner around like a rag doll can be great fun. The physicality of the experience can be a great release for both parties as the whole body is involved in a play that can range from passive for the bottom to a knock down drag out fight. This class will cover basic safety as well as be interactive. Audience participation is encouraged but not required. Dancing in the Ropes This is a new class concept based around suspension. The concept is that instead of tying for static suspension, tie so that the bottom moves around and “dances”. If you like this one, I’ll work up a proper class description. Rope Gags and bondage of the mouth This will be a class that focuses on rope and the mouth. This is a new class I’m developing and am excited that it could be insanely hot.

Photography Classes

Fetish Photography Basics

Fetish photography is much like any other photography.  It's just that your mom won't hang it on the wall.  This class will cover some photographic technique but will cover much more the concepts of composition, emotion and finding your own style.

Shooting Real (kinky) Life

Sometimes a studio isn't handy and the best photos can come out of the real-life events you are exposed to.  This class will cover techniques for getting great photos in a variety of situations where you don't have control of lighting, movement or even any idea of what is going to happen next.

Ask the Photographer

Most photo classes result in the photographer trying to pander to skill levels in the audience from basic to advanced and the class cannot learn what it needs to.  This class allows the audience to pick the brains of the instructor and learn what they need to from "how did you do that?" to "how do I do this?"
