Japanese Suspension Cuff

Standard Safety disclaimer: Bondage is fun but it can also be dangerous. Ropes that are too tight or in the wrong place can cut off blood flow or cause nerve damage. It is your responsibility to ensure that you play safely. Whatever you do, have fun doing it!

Step 1 - Make a bight by folding the rope in half at the middle.


Step 2- Lay the bight over the limb with plenty of room to wrap around as many times as you would like.


Step 3 - Wrap the bight around the arms as many times as desired. Two to four is usually good.


Step 4 - Pull the bight across the working end.


Step 5 - Pass the bight under all of the wraps lying next to the skin.


Step 6 - Pull the bight until the rope is snug. If Desired, steps 4-6 can be repeated to minimize risk of the cuff tightening.


Step 7 - Start tying a square knot with the two ends of the rope.


Step 8 - Pull snug (as if that wasn't obvious).


Step 9 - Finish off the square knot as you would any square knot.


Step 10 - Pull snug and you have the finished product.


Step 11 - Suspension is not necessary for enjoyment but we do it anyway.
